ToolBelt is Dan Whitfield and Mo Karim, twelve and nine years on the tools respectively. We take on the jobs that are too small for a builder and too fiddly to face on a Sunday, across Leeds and a reasonable distance around it.
Rates are published on this site rather than quoted on the doorstep. Materials are charged at cost with the receipt attached. Quotes are written, free, and fixed unless we open something up and find a genuine surprise — in which case we stop and ask before carrying on.

Estimate over the phone
A number given without seeing the job is a number that changes. We look first, in person or from your photographs, then quote in writing.
Mark up materials
Charged at what we paid, receipt attached. A hidden markup makes it impossible for you to check whether a quote is fair.
Take work we cannot do properly
Consumer units, full rewires, gas and structural work all go to someone qualified. Referring you on costs us a job and saves you a bad one.
Who turns up
It will be one of these two, and we will tell you which when we book.
